Definition
Kentucky is a state located in the eastern United States. It shares borders with Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia, Tennessee, and Missouri. The capital of Kentucky is Frankfort, which has a population of around 29,000 people. Famous for its horse racing, bourbon whiskey, and bluegrass music, Kentucky is known as the "Bluegrass State". The state's most famous landmark is the Mammoth Cave National Park, which features an extensive network of underground caves and tunnels. Kentucky is home to several universities, including the University of Kentucky and Western Kentucky University, which are both located in Lexington.
