Definition - JESUS - Pentecostal
Pentecostal Christians believe Jesus is the one who sends the Holy Spirit to believers. Jesus' resurrection is seen as the starting point for the Pentecostal experience. Through faith in Jesus, Pentecostals believe they receive the gift of speaking in tongues. The baptism with the Holy Spirit is a key aspect of Pentecostal spirituality and faith. Pentecostals believe Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever, always present and guiding.
