Warhol

Andy Warhol was a leading figure in American pop art movement. He drew inspiration from European avant-garde artists such as Marcel Duchamp. Warhol's fascination with consumer culture and celebrity iconography defined his style. Influenced by the abstract expressionism of Willem de Kooning and Franz Kline. Warhol's silkscreen prints of Campbell's Soup cans became iconic symbols of American art.
