Definition - ELECTRONICS - Wires
Wires are conductive materials used to connect electronic components together efficiently. Conductive wires allow electricity to flow through them without significant resistance. Insulated wires prevent electrical shock by encasing the conductive material in a protective layer. Coaxial cables use inner and outer conductors to transmit signals with minimal interference. Twisted pairs of wires reduce electromagnetic radiation by cancelling out magnetic fields.
