Switches

A switch is an electrical component that controls the flow of electric current. It can be used to turn devices on or off manually or automatically. Some switches have multiple positions, allowing for different functions to be selected. In digital circuits, switches are often replaced by logic gates or transistors. Switches can also be used to divide a circuit into separate sections or paths.
