Tatra Shepherd Dog originated from Tatra Mountains region, Slovakia and Poland. Coat is thick, double-layered, and sheds heavily, but grooming needs attention. Medium-sized dog with muscular build, strong jaws, and distinctive head shape. Energetic and intelligent, requires regular exercise, mental stimulation, and training. Loyal and protective of family, can be wary around strangers and require socialization.
